Why Did Our Intercoms Change Color?

http://www.clearcom.com/product/partyline
Did you know that at the very beginning, Clear-Com’s main stations were actually black? We had designed them that way to blend in with the dark environment of the stage. In the 1970s, we decided to change the color of our main stations to dark brown because it was the trendy color of that era. Further, we didn’t want to make too big of a leap from the original black color so we figured that brown was close enough to black. Later, our executive team decided that the dark brown looked too old fashion and they wanted our intercoms to look contemporary and modern so light brown was the color adopted for the main stations instead. Through a discussion of several product managers, the systems finally made a transition to the color blue, which is the current color of our Clear-Com intercom systems today.

Happy Pi Day! What Does Pi (3.14) Sound Like?

Those of us at Clear-Com love performances and I don't think that's a surprise at all, considering our extensive experience in professional audio. We love concerts, plays and live events. Those are cool, but we have a bit of a "nerd"streak as well, which ishould be no surprise either since we put all our energies and intelligence to innovate the best intercom systems. Today is Pi day (3.14) and if you ever wondered what Pi sounds like, below is an entertaining video that will demonstrate the sound of Pi.
