Review: Clear-Com RS-702 Two-Channel Analog Intercom Beltpack

"Having spent some time with the new RS-702, I am planning on putting money in next year's budget to upgrade our video team's packs. And I say this after not expecting to be that impressed with it. But it really is a lot better, and I think our volunteers will really appreciate the better audio quality and the new features."

-Mike Sessler, Coast Hills Community Church

Mike Sessler, Technical Director at Coast Hills Community Church in Aliso Viejo, CA, has been involved in live production for over 20 years. His production team has been using our Clear-Com legacy RS-500 Series analog partyline beltpacks and now wanted to put our new RS-700 Series beltpacks to the test. Clear-Com: Together We Can (Video)

At every moment of the day, our intercom systems make a difference by bringing people together. We’re not only there for the production community, but also for those that need help the most. Over the years, we’ve supported numerous non-profit organizations by providing them with our communication systems.

At Kiowa County, we’ve helped restore hope to thousands of people that were devastated by the EF5 tornado. They lost their homes, their community, and communication infrastructure. With our help, they were able to revive their sense of community and get their productions up and running again at their new media center and HD Production Truck.

We’ve also helped enhance the lives of children and adults with special needs. By supporting stage productions at Angels on Stage, we’ve empowered individuals to learn new skills and challenged them to reach new heights.

In addition, we’ve partnered with the John Lennon Educational Tour Bus to challenge high school students around the world in production artistry. By equipping them with professional intercom systems, we’ve helped students realize their potential and talent in live production settings.

Our experience in supporting the production community and those in need have shown us that, together we can achieve more and make lives better. So, join us today in making a difference.

Playing a Game of Ice Hockey with the HelixNet Beltpack (Video!)

Our Clear-Com team in the Canada office love to play ice hockey. But how are they supposed to play when they don't have a hockey puck? Our clever engineering team decided that our durable HelixNet Partyline beltpack would have to do. They put the rugged HelixNet digital beltpack to the test in a hockey game in freezing weather. The results? The HelixNet beltpack was still working in perfect condition after the game.

Fabricated from lightweight cast aluminum, the HelixNet beltpacks are extremely tough, just like our RS-700 Series analog partyline beltpacks. Have you seen the video where our RS-701 beltpack was run over by a Jeep and still worked great afterwards? If you haven't, check out that video also: RS-701 Run Over by a Jeep and Survives!

Angels on Stage: Illuminating Abilities (Watch Video!)

Watch this video which tells the powerful story of the impact that Angels On Stage is making! AoS was established in 2007 by DeAnna Pursai as a tribute to her younger sister, Angel, who happens to have Down Syndrome. The organization offers children with disabilities, ages 5-22, an opportunity to perform in professional musical theater productions. Each performer, or “angel”, has a buddy coach that helps them with lines and entrances. Now the performances have grown from 41 angels in the original production to nearly 100 angels! Since the founding of the organization, Clear-Com’s WBS-680 Wireless Intercom System has been used for show communications. See if you can also spot Clear-Com in action in the video below!
